The Client's Brief

Our client in Horsley required a dedicated fitness space that was completely separate from the main house. They needed a high-performance environment that could handle intense workouts, remain cool in summer, and be fully insulated for comfortable winter training, all while overlooking their beautiful garden. Critically, the structure needed a robust floor system to support heavy weights and exercise equipment.

Our Bespoke Solution

We designed a modern, mid-sized garden room featuring vertical composite cladding for a sleek, low-maintenance exterior. To ensure maximum stability for their heavy equipment, we started with our non-invasive ground screw foundation system. We installed thick PIR insulation throughout the floor, walls, and ceiling, ensuring optimal temperature control and sound dampening. The room was fitted with extra-wide bi-fold doors to allow for excellent airflow during warmer months, alongside a full electrical package, including under-floor heating and Wi-Fi points for specialized gym equipment.

The Outcome

The result is a powerful, professional-grade garden gym that is used daily, regardless of the weather. The client now has a dedicated, private fitness zone that blends seamlessly into the landscape.
