Corner Garden Office, Hersham
The Client's Brief
The client in Hersham needed a dedicated, professional workspace to facilitate permanent working from home. Their primary constraint was a small garden footprint that required a clever solution to maximize internal space without overwhelming the outdoor area. The design needed to be sleek, modern, and highly insulated to ensure a comfortable and productive environment year-round.
Our Bespoke Solution
To efficiently utilize every available square inch, we designed a bespoke corner garden room. This configuration fits snugly into the boundary, preserving precious garden space while offering the largest possible internal area. The foundations were secured with our non-invasive ground screw foundation system.
For the exterior, we used premium Thermawood cladding, providing both excellent durability and a sophisticated aesthetic. This was paired with modern anthracite grey doors and windows, creating a striking contrast that enhanced the contemporary look. The building was fully insulated and fitted with internal electrics to create an immediate, comfortable, and functional home office ready for use.
The Outcome
The project successfully delivered a dedicated, high-quality garden office that completely alleviated the client's space issues. By using the corner footprint, we provided a substantial, year-round workspace that is quiet, thermally efficient, and visually appealing, proving that even small gardens can accommodate bespoke garden rooms without compromise.
